We Are Family brings services, advocacy, and companionship into seniors’ homes with the help of our community partners. Together, we build a network of caring eyes and ears -- a community that honors our elders, where neighbors look out for each other, where there is a place for everyone, and where everybody matters.

The Neighbors Project of George Washington University
Provides students at George Washington University on-going volunteer opportunities at a variety of social service agencies and schools.
Northwest Settlement House
Today, as it was in 1934, the mission of the NWSH is to serve the Shaw community from infancy to senior citizenship, helping to provide healthy alternatives to strengthen the community and to break down barriers.
St. Aloysius Catholic Church

The Central Union Mission
Established in 1884, Central Union Mission is one of America's oldest social service ministries. They work to glorify God through proclaiming and teaching the gospel, leading people to Christ, developing disciples, and serving the needs of hurting people throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area.

AVODAH: The Jewish Service Corps
Engages young people in direct work on the causes and effects of poverty in the United States. Participants live out and deepen their commitments to social change and Jewish life through a year of full-time work at anti-poverty organizations
Positive Force DC
A Washington DC-area activist group that works for fundamental social change and youth empowerment. We organize benefit and free concerts, demonstrations and teach-ins and also do direct work with needy people.

The Washington Mindfulness Community
A community inspired by the teachings of Buddhism and of Thich Nhat Hanh, a contemporary Vietnamese Zen Master, peace activist and writer. Their mission is to nurture mindfulness, love, and understanding.
